Sanguinet: the 1st race of aquatic vehicles with human propulsion
The first race of aquatic vehicles with human propulsion organized by the association Vélodo will take place in Sanguinet in the Landes from Friday the 19th of June to Sunday the 21st of June 2015.
The aquatic vehicle with human propulsion also called “human powered boat”, aquatic VPH, pedal boat, etc… uses the human force to move.
Who can participate to the race of aquatic vehicles with human propulsion
This first race is open to non-professional , beginners or experienced, but also to schools (secondary schools, high schools, IUT “University Institute of Technology”, colleges…), associations, joint consultative committees, local associations, private associations (minimum 3 persons), minors with the written authorization of their parents and under their presence on the spot.
However, it has nothing to do with a demonstration of UFO (Unidentified floating objects) but it is a race: a particular attention must be paid to the performance and to the aesthetics of the vehicles which should be designed above all to take part in speed races.

Sanguinet located near Biscarrosse and the bay of Arcachon in the south-west of France has many types of accommodation: campsites, rental of Mobil homes by the lake of Sanguinet, camper vans areas or furnished accommodations.
This special event organized during the annual festivity in Sanguinet will have the advantages of numerous activities planned during the weekend: bodega, bandas, catering areas, balls, fireworks, etc…
