Sanguinet: your activities in July 2015 (1st part)
As happens each year, summer takes its time to arrive but at least it has arrived! Are you planning to spend your holidays in Sanguinet in the Landes? Here it is the programme of the activities organized by the town and the surrounding associations.
Summer market
From the 1st of July: from 8 a.m to 1 p.m every Wednesday and Saturday mornings at the market square.
Night market
From the 1st of July: from 7p.m to midnight every Saturday evening during summer at the market square.
Course of self-construction of a windmill
From the 6th to the 10th of July, the association Les Jardins de Sillac, organizes a course of self-construction of a windmill in Salles, at the Sillac farm: it consists in building a windmill “Pigott” with other people during five days. The course costs 400 Euros (it includes the lunch), and with 75 Euros more it includes all meals. (Accommodation on the spot + breakfasts + diners)
Three-days painting course
From the 6th to the 8th of July, the painting workshop 2a2c proposes a painting course, 179 chemin de Menicon in Sanguinet.

Guided tours of the wetlands
From the 8th of July to the 26th of August l’ACGELB proposes to discover our wetlands every Wednesday. The tour is run by Yann, a guide who will make you discover the animal life and vegetation of this environment: explanations about the presence of the cattle nearby the lakes, visit of a “tonne” (a hut for hunters) to show the heritage nature and the values of the traditions of a different kind of hunting in our Pays de Bom. Hot drink will be provided during the break in the “tonne”. These excursions are free of charge. Booking at the tourist office at 05 58 78 67 72. Meeting point at the Port de l’Estey at 8.30 am.
Show for children « Vagabondage »
On Wednesday the 8th of July from 11am to midday at the community centre: “La grande mer a rompu ses amarres…” the Indian Nyaha sings. Perette and Plume, the two goblins of the forest wander through the paths which disappear behind the ferns. They learn to listen to the murmur of the stars. But at the bend of the path the thief of time suddenly appears. His main worry is to save time, which contradicts Nyaha’s teaching. The children will discover the life force thanks to Perette and Plume along the scenes by the laughs and the songs. This interactive spectacle is for children from 4 to 10 years old.
Fishing: Evening carnivores fishing in boat
From the 9th of July to the 20th of August: from 5pm to 8:30 pm. Every Monday and Thursday evenings: at the Port de l’Estey. It includes the equipment lending, the lures, the instructor-guide, the boat and the fuel (if it is by boat). The fishing permit is not included in the price. By reservation only with Eric: 06 88 41 46 78 or with Gilbert: 06 29 86 87 14 or even with Olivier: 06 88 05 51 33. Full price : 18 Euros per hour.
Introduction to recreational fishing
From the 9th of July to the 10th of August from 10 am to midday, every Monday and Thursday, at the area Gemme, the fishing guides of Aquitaine organize an introduction to recreational fishing. By reservation with Eric: 06 88 41 46 78 or with Gilbert: 06 29 86 87 14 or even with Olivier: 06 88 05 51 33. It includes the equipment lending, the lures, and the instructor-guide. Each participant must have his valid fishing permit. The fishing permit is not included in the price. Full price: 10 Euros per person.
Diner and Landes evening with a ball
On Monday 13th of July at 7:30 pm, an open-air-picnic and a ball are organized by Lou Gats Esquirous at the town hall square. At 11 pm, a fire show « toro d’éclair » will take place on the town hall square.
The 14 July Parade
On Tuesday the 14th of July at 11 am the parade will begin at the town hall square to the stadium.
