Jazz in Sanguinet: the event kicks off on July 24th 2014!
The 15th jazz edition in Sanguinet will take place from Thursday 24th until Sunday 27th of July 2014 on the site Gemme, rebuilt as a jazz village with Bodega, food, various exhibitions and a huge space for creative craftsmen. Who will be the stars this year? Manu Katche and Manu Dibango…
This year, a rich and eclectic programming will proudly present jazz within its diversity, its authenticity and its ability to explore the expression of international music which combines tradition and modernity, with implicitly swing.
24 concerts, including 20 without any charge
What will you listen to over these four days and musical nights? 24 concerts including 20 free open-air concerts and four charged fee concerts realised by 154 musicians coming from 22 groups and bands including 11 from the South West and the Aquitaine.
The stars Manu Katche and Manu Dibango will perform with their own orchestras under the top, on Friday the 25th of July and Saturday 26th of July respectively.
A concert in the Oréades!
This year neighbouring towns participate in Jazz in Sanguinet by giving various free events for this festival. The Domaine Les Oréades will receive the Swing Favorit Quartet on Sunday the 20th of July who will pay special tribute to Poncho Sanchez with salsa and Latino soul from 7P.M.
