The Sanguinet-Biscarosse cycle path
This pleasant route in the shade of the pines is not especially challenging and runs along the lake for 6.6 km to Biscarrosse. Access to this dedicated cycle path is just in front of the campsite.
The lake museum
Discover the history of the people who populated the surroundings of Lake Sanguinet during its gradual formation, which took place over three millennia.
Nearly 450 objects from archaeological excavations promise an interactive journey through time to understand the environment, heritage, underwater archaeology.

Within the region
The beaches of the Atlantic coast
Biscarrosse, Mimizan, Contis… The beaches of the Atlantic coast reveal breathtaking panoramas punctuated by dunes and pine forests.
The more adventurous can learn to surf or bodyboard, but do be careful; swimming can be dangerous.
Discovering the flavours of the Landes
The region is full of gourmet treasures with local products (beef from Chalosse, free-range duck, free-range poultry, Armagnac, etc.) and local specialities (tourtière, duck breast, confit and Landes pastis).

The Pilat dune
Culminating at 110 meters above sea level, this is the highest dune in Europe!
With a bit of effort, you and your family can reach its summit and enjoy a spectacular view of the Bassin d’Arcachon and the Pointe du Cap Ferret.

The Seaplane Museum in Biscarosse
Did you know that in the 1930s, Biscarosse was the place where the largest French seaplanes were assembled and tested?
This museum retraces the history of these giants of the sky, which, in their day, linked Biscarrosse to New York and Fort-de-France!

Take a trip back in time to rediscover the atmosphere of a village of yesteryear.
To access this eco-museum, where nothing seems to have changed since the 19th century, take the resin workers train (the carriages are classified as a Historic Monument) from Saber station.
