It is really wintertime in The Landes and it left far behind itself the massages by Karine in the Oréades or the beaches with lifeguards in the Landes in September. Even if there is no age to surf, the ocean is too cold to go swimming and Bisc’adventure: tree climbing park near Sanguinet is closed. Gourmets and gourmands know very well that going to The Landes is not only for the beach and the forest. Here , we eat very well : duck (foie gras, confit) and of course free-range poultry, but also numerous products such as the asparagus, the kiwi, the Chalosse beef, the sweet peppers……including the wines and liqueurs such as Armagnac. It is not a scoop, The Landes has the biggest number of farm products with a quality label.
But it is not all. The Landes means the seaside and therefore the seafood: anti-ageing, anti-stress, pro-health! So, with whelks, shrimps, mussels and clams, winter is the perfect season to enjoy eating without limits.
Go-kart !
Located just a 10-minute drive from Sanguinet, the amusement go-kart Park Center in Biscarrosse is open year-round and you can rent go-karts and quads… This multi-activities resort is located in the centre of the forest of the Landes and it offers you plenty of real thrills in complete safety. Thanks to the numerous activities, at Kart Center, from 7 years old to 77 years old the whole family can have fun!
Laser shot!
During all the year, The Laser Lander® in Gujan-Mestras proposes a shot simulation with several players who are confronting each other without shooting on his/her teammates. The games take place in a maze with a minimalist decor, both puzzling, futuristic and providing security (the surface of the walls is smooth).
